Marketplace Rules

ChannelHub connects buyers and sellers of YouTube channels. These rules keep listings honest and conversations safe. Breaking them can cost you a listing or your account.

Last updated: 3 September 2026

1. List only channels you own

  • You must be the rightful owner of the channel, or be explicitly authorised to sell it.
  • Stolen, hacked, hijacked, purchased-credential, or otherwise fraudulently obtained channels are banned outright.
  • Channels under active strikes, terminations, or disputes must be disclosed in the listing.
  • The same channel may not be listed twice or listed while a sale is being completed elsewhere.

2. Keep listings accurate

  • Subscribers, views, video counts, and channel age must match the real channel.
  • Monetization status must be stated truthfully; revenue figures must reflect actual earnings.
  • Do not use another channel's branding, thumbnails, or statistics in your listing.
  • Update or remove your listing when the facts change.

3. Never share credentials

Passwords, two-factor and recovery codes, session cookies, backup email access, and any other private login information must never be requested, offered, or sent through ChannelHub. Our messaging blocks common credential patterns, and asking for them is grounds for immediate removal — regardless of which side of the deal you are on.

4. Transfer through YouTube's official process

Ownership must move through YouTube's own documented transfer flow, such as Brand Account owner and manager permissions. Handing over an account instead of transferring it is not a sale we support and can put both parties at risk.

5. Communicate honestly

  • No misleading claims about future revenue, guaranteed growth, or sponsorship deals.
  • No pressure tactics, fake urgency, or invented competing offers.
  • No spam, off-topic promotion, harassment, or abusive language.
  • Keep discussion about a listing inside that listing's conversation so there is a clear record.

6. Purchase requests are commitments of intent

Submitting a purchase request tells a seller you are seriously interested in that listing. Sending requests you have no intention of following up on, or repeatedly abandoning negotiations, is treated as abuse of the marketplace. ChannelHub does not hold funds at this time, so good faith on both sides is what makes the process work.

7. Moderation and enforcement

Every listing is reviewed by an administrator before it becomes visible, and seller verification is approved manually. Administrators can reject a listing, remove a live listing, revoke a verification badge, or suspend an account.

Decisions are based on the listing, the account's history, and the record attached to it. If you believe a decision was wrong, or you want to report a listing or user, use the support form. These rules sit alongside our Terms & Conditions.
