Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains what can be cancelled on ChannelHub today, and the framework that will apply to refunds once payment processing is enabled.
Last updated: 3 September 2026
Payments are not enabled today
ChannelHub does not currently collect, hold, process, or transmit payments between buyers and sellers. Payment integration is on hold, so there are no ChannelHub-processed charges to refund at this time.
If you arrange a payment directly with another user outside the platform, that arrangement is entirely between the two of you. ChannelHub cannot reverse, recover, or refund it.
Cancelling a purchase request
A purchase request is a recorded expression of interest in a specific listing — not a payment. Either side can step away before a deal is agreed:
- A buyer can cancel their own open purchase request at any time.
- A seller can decline a purchase request at any time.
- A request is only marked completed when both sides confirm the transfer is done.
- Cancelling or declining does not create any charge or fee.
When payments are enabled
When ChannelHub introduces payment handling, refund and cancellation outcomes will depend on the payment method used and the transaction terms in force at the time of the transaction, and this policy will be updated before any payment feature goes live. In general we expect:
- Refund eligibility to be tied to the stage the transaction reached — before transfer, during transfer, or after the buyer confirms control.
- Processing times and any non-refundable processing fees to be set by the payment method and its provider, not by ChannelHub alone.
- Amounts already released to a seller after a confirmed transfer to be recoverable only through agreement between the parties or an applicable dispute process.
- Disputes to be reviewed against the listing, the purchase request record, and the message history for that listing.
We do not promise guaranteed refunds, and nothing here overrides the rights you have under applicable consumer or payment regulations.
Listing removal and account actions
Removing your own listing, or a listing being rejected or removed by moderation, does not involve any charge and therefore does not create a refund. Sellers can relist after correcting the issues raised in review.
Raising an issue
If a counterparty is not honouring what was agreed, report it through the support form with the listing reference. Our Marketplace Rules describe the moderation actions available to us.
